Travelers talk / Cestovatelská beseda s promítáním (v angličtině)
Room M-427 / místnost M-427
Jakub Rybicki will talk about two months spent in the farthest corners of Afghanistan. The aim of the expedition was to reach the highest mountain in Afghanistan – Noshaq. Then the travellers moved in space and time, deeper into the Wakhan Corridor, to the springs of Amu Daria and settlements of its indigenous people. Wakhan Corridor was declared a nature reserve in 2014. Wakhan National Park is about 1 million hectares big and, among other animals, is home to Marco Polo sheep – the world’s largest wild sheep, with horns that stretch nearly two meters from tip to tip.
Talk is open to anyone who is interested (students or public) / Akce je přístupná všem zájemcům (studentům i veřejnosti)
